BUREAU VALLEY INVITE The Rebels XC teams journeyed up to Walnut to participate in the Bureau Valley Invite Saturday (Sept. 15). With temperatures in the low 80's, times were much slower than what they were last week at Detweiller Park. The Rebels Boys placed 17th out of 21 full teams (5 runner minimum). Dawson Dyken (19:06) edged Riley Down (19:07) and Alex Welch (19:13) to lead the Boys. Also finishing for the Boys were Payton Stahl (20:52), Caden Daum (22:50), Colby Carroll (24:14), Brett Browning (26:36) and Chris Roark (28:36). The Girls finished 7th out of 20 teams. The Girls only had 6 running today. Olivia Frail (20:13) crossed the finish line first for the girls with Ashley Orrick (21:45), Trinity Shimmin (23:24), Lena Becker (23:45), Alyssa Dyken (24:48) and Sarah Fairfield (24:50) following. Olivia (7th overall) and Ashley (29th) got trophies for finishing in the Top 30. There were 33 schools at the Invite. There were 193 finishers in the girls race and 193 finishers in the boys race also.
